I’m registered for the SeaWheeze lululemon HALF MARATHON!
I’m extremely excited and terrified out of my mind. Looks like I’ll be training for the 10k Vancouver Sun Run on April 15th as a lead into the SeaWheeze half marathon on August 11th! AHHH!
It’s time to start working towards my 2012 goals and as we all know I do love setting and achieving my goals! As you might recall from just last week – I set this goal over a year ago and if it wasn’t more perfect timing for lululemon to hold their first marathon – I don’t know what would be!
Another very good thing is that I’m very familiar with the route:
And being in the city makes it easier for me to run parts of it while I train and already be familiar with the route as it’s my first half marathon.
Another good thing is that I know quite a bit about running so I’m not starting from scratch! On that note, I’m going to be looking for a group to train and run with – if you know of any or are in one in the Vancouver area please let me know!
I have so many great running and training ideas from lots of my favourite bloggers so I can’t wait to start planning.
